The story of Crawdaddyz began over 20 years ago along the shores of New Orleans.

A couple of friends were following their family’s tradition, fishing the plentiful waters of their own backyard. In those days, the friends kept busy lobstering and selling their catch to restaurants and markets up and down the coast. What they didn’t sell they cooked up for their friends and had a great big party with plenty of beer.

But of all the seafood, they enjoyed crawfish the most. Between the two of them, twenty pounds of spicy crawfish would build up like mountains in front of them. Thus, giving rise to the name Crawdaddyz.

So many people enjoyed the fresh-cooked seafood that they decided to build a restaurant. And in 2008, the first Crawdaddyz opened in Oklahoma City. Now, friends and family can enjoy a little of New Orleans right here in OKC.
